The results of the Primary Teachers Colleges in Uganda
have just been released today.
In a total of 9411 candidates, no one got an aggregate
in distinction, 3906 credits, 3954 ordinary pass, 1405
failure, 146 ungraded.
Those who obtained percentage pass were 83.5%, failure
14.9%.
The best candidate was Stella Mika of St John Bosco Lodonga
Core PTC. She obtained an aggregate of 15.
The best PTC was St John Bosco Lodonga Core PTC with 97.9%
and the last (the 48th) was Christ the King Gulu with
58.3%.
The PTCs from West Nile were graded as:
Arua PTC 9th (93.9%)
Erepi PTC 16th (89.9%)
Paidha PTC 31st (84.0%)
Of the PTCs within Kampala
Shimoni PTC 29th (84.2%)
Kibuli PTC 40th (76.2%)
St John Baptist Ggaba PTC 43rd (70.6%)
Buloba PTC 46th (64.2%)
Uganda has 47 PTCs and Ndejje University too has a centre
(making a total of 48). Ndejje occupied the 45th place
with a total pass of 6, total failure 3, ungraded 0. This
means 9 candidates were presented.
