URLCODA’s Experiences in Managing Projects

• URLCODA Youth HIV/AIDS Vulnerable Group Support Project for the
  people of Aroi, Manibe and Oluvu Sub Counties (September 2004 – September 2005)
• URLCODA Youth HIV/AIDS Community Education Project (March –
  August 2004)
• URLCODA-World Food Programme Food for Asset Project (January 2004
  – December 2005)
• URLCODA Intergenerational Literacy Project (2002 – 2007 – still in
  progress)

Awards Won

In 2005 URLCODA won International Reading Association’s Developing Countries Literacy Project Support grant for local reading materials production. Its name has also been fronted for the following awards:

• The Red Ribbon Award 2006 in HIV/AIDS
• UNESCO’s Model Literacy Programs for a High-Level Advocacy Event
